Metamorphosis book design
Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka is one of the key works of literature of the twentieth century. This project was driven by my personal interest to this novella. I created hand drawn ink illustrations, designed a decorative cap in Adobe Illustrator, and created layouts in Adobe InDesign. The concept has some aspects of traditional book design (such as decorative cap) and some modern aspects (such as cover design), as I think the whole twentieth century symbolizes the contradiction between tradition and novelty.

Beauty Biodiversity brochure
Beauty Biodiversity brochure is designed for the educational and recreational event Moss. Lecture and Talk. The target audience is UBC students from the schools not related to natural sciences. This event features a lecture as well as a master class to promote Beauty Biodiversity Museum among young people. The brochure includes the introduction to the moss specimen from the museum collection, information about the museum, event, and the tickets prices. To make the brochure an interactive takeaway, it also includes a step-by-step guide on how to grow moss at home.
